The Walt Disney Company announced that it's bringing its hit streaming service, Disney+, to South Korea, Taiwan and Hong Kong this November.

The release date will coincide with Disney+ Day, a global celebration that will touch all dimensions of the company. Subscribers will be treated to new releases across the service's iconic brands, alongside a special presentation with sneak peeks at future releases in the pipeline.

"The inaugural Disney+ Day will be a grand-scale celebration of our subscribers across the entire company," said Chief Executive Officer of The Walt Disney Company, Bob Chapek. "This day of appreciation brings to life our mission to entertain, inform, and inspire fans and families around the globe through the power of unparalleled storytelling, and will become an annual tentpole event to be amplified across our global businesses."

Disney+ Day content premieres include Marvel Studios’ Shang-Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings, the first five episodes from Season 2 of National Geographic's The World According to Jeff Goldblum, Disney's family-friendly adventure Jungle Cruise, Disney+ Original movie Home Sweet Home Alone, and a variety of different shorts and specials from their brands, including a look at what's next for the future of the MCU. It will also mark the release of Dopesickan original series starring Michael Keaton.

In two short years, Disney+ has already carved an impressive place for itself in the streaming space, thanks to huge hits like The Mandalorian, WandaVision, The Falcon and The Winter Soldier and Loki, which is returning with a second season. Disney+ is currently available in over 60 countries and 21 languages across North America, Europe, Asia Pacific and Latin America.

Subscribers will also have access to promotions across the company. Disney Parks and Resorts around the world as well as Disney Cruise Line will offer photo opportunities and character moments, while shopDisney.com will offer exclusive deals. Shows and series across ABC, Disney Channel, ESPN and ESPN+, Freeform, FX, Hulu and National Geographic will also be there to join in on the fun.

Disney+ will make its debut in South Korea and Taiwan on Nov. 12, the official date of Disney+ Day, and in Hong Kong on Nov. 16. Fans can expect more Disney+ announcements as Disney+ Day draws closer.
