Though the upcoming Disney+ series, Secret Invasion, is under as much secrecy as any other project in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, star Christopher McDonald been providing audiences with more and more updates, with the latest tid-bit being about his own character.

In an interview with The Movie Dweeb, McDonald mentioned that he will be sharing the majority of scenes alongside Samuel L. Jackson, who is reprising his role as former S.H.I.E.L.D director Nick Fury, hinting that McDonald will be playing someone close to the superspy.

McDonald revealed in the same interview that the project will begin filming in roughly a month, stating, "I'm going to come to London to make this thing happen in a month's time, I think a month and a half time I'll be there doing it and um I know nothing, I can say nothing because I saw that I signed a NDA so there's nothing coming forward other than the fact that it's called Secret Invasion."

Secret Invasion stars Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury and Ben Mendelsohn as Talos, with Olivia Colman, Emilia Clarke, Kingsley Ben-Adir and Christopher McDonald in undisclosed roles. Thomas Bezucha and Ali Selim will serve as directors. The series, which will air on Disney+, has yet to receive a premiere date.
