In a surprising move, Marvel's Agent Carter One-Shot has been removed from Disney+.

Mere weeks after the Agent Carter One-Shot showed up on Disney+ as its own listing, the One-Shot has seemingly been removed. News of its removal was first revealed by The Direct. The story was previously included in the extras for Iron Man 3, and eventually spawned a spinoff that brought Hayley Atwell back as the beloved character, Peggy Carter, in a series for ABC.

The Agent Carter One-Shot was added to the service around the same time as All Hail the King, which spawned out of Iron Man 3. That One-Shot focused on Trevor Slattery and connected to the recently released Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. While All Hail the King is still available on Disney+, it isn't entirely certain what led to the Agent Carter One-Shot being pulled. After all, it was the Agent Carter One-Shot that resulted in ABC and Marvel Studios teaming to produce the Agent Carter series, which ran for two seasons on the network and is available to stream on Disney+.

The Agent Carter One-Shot was directed by Louis D'Esposito and written by Eric Pearson. It saw Peggy Carter try to recover the mysterious Zodiac following the events of Captain America: The First Avenger. The short had Carter stand up against sexist bosses at the Strategic Scientific Reserve, including John Flynn (Bradley Whitford).

Atwell's Peggy Carter recently returned in the animated series What If...?, where she donned the Captain Carter mantle. In the series' premiere, now streaming, Carter and Steve Rogers switch roles, with Carter becoming a super soldier instead of Rogers. There are rumors that Captain Carter will debut in live-action in the Doctor Strange sequel, however, nothing has been confirmed.

While the short is no longer available to stream on Disney+, the Agent Carter series for ABC is still live on the service, both seasons available.
