Disney+ and Marvel Studios' Secret Invasion is looking to add Olivia Colman to its ranks.

According to THR, Colman is in talks to join the series that will feature Samuel L. Jackson reprising his role as Nick Fury and Ben Mendelsohn returning as the Skrull Talos.

Colman is best known for her role as Queen Elizabeth II in Netflix's The Crown, Godmother in Fleabag and Queen Anne in The Favourite, for which she won an Academy Award for Best Actress.

Secret Invasion is based on the 2008 limited series by Brian Michael Bendis, Leinil Francis Yu, Mark Morales and Laura Martin, which saw countless heroes across the Marvel Universe replaced by evil, shapeshifting Skrulls. It's still unclear how the source material will be adapted for Disney+, as the Marvel Cinematic Universe's Skrulls have been benevolent thus far.

The Skrulls were last seen in cinematic form in the post-credits scene of Spider-Man: Far From Home, when it was revealed that the version of Nick Fury seen in that film was actually Talos in disguise. However, the series finale of WandaVision also set up more Skrull action by suggesting that Monica Rambeau would become involved with the series in some capacity.

Secret Invasion stars Samuel L. Jackson, Ben Mendelsohn and Kingsley Ben-Adir. The series has yet to receive a premiere date.
