One of the projects from Disney+'s second wave of Marvel Studios shows, Ms. Marvel, has received an apparent start window.

According to a report from Murphy's Multiverse, Ms. Marvel will begin filming in Atlanta, GA, in November, and the production plans to wrap up principal photography by March 2021. Previously, Ms. Marvel was set to start filming in August, but this was delayed due to the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

The report also notes that Marvel Studios plans to introduce Ms. Marvel's alter-ego Kamala Khan before Ms. Marvel.

Created by G. Willow Wilson, Adrian Alphona, Jamie McKelvie, Sana Amanat and Stephen Wacker, Kamala Khan is a teenage Pakistani American girl whose Inhuman gifts were activated when she was exposed to a cloud of Terrigen Mist. Her Inhuman DNA endows her with shapeshifting abilities and a healing factor. Inspired by her idol Carol Danvers --the current Captain Marvel and the original Ms. Marvel -- Kamala took up the Ms. Marvel identity for herself and became a superhero. The character received a positive reception from comic book fans and the mainstream media and has since made the leap to other forms of media such as animated TV shows and video games. Kamala Khan's Marvel Cinematic Universe incarnation will be her first appearance in any live-action media.

Ms. Marvel is expected to debut on Disney+ sometime in 2021.
