This is not the first report indicating Ms. Marvel's debut shift. TVLine's Matt Webb Mitovich previously suggested the series had been delayed until early a 2022 delay. Film insider Amit Chaudhari recently stated that the series was set to hit Disney+ in February.

Nothing is currently known about the plot of Ms. Marvel. However, a recent piece of concept art indicates that the MCU version of Kamala Khan may have a power set that differs from what she has in the comics. In addition, series star Iman Vellani is set to reprise the title role for the upcoming The Marvels, which will see her alongside Captain Marvel and Monica Rambeau actors Brie Larson and Teyonah Parris. Filming for the movie was confirmed by Larson to have started back in August.
