Some of the most iconic moments from the Marvel Cinematic Universe will get the spotlight in a new Disney+ series titled Marvel Studios: Legends.The new ongoing series will follow individual characters and some of their biggest MCU moments through their eyes. WANDA MAXIMOFF
Wanda Maximoff made her debut in Avengers: Age of Ultron as a powerful adversary of The Avengers, only to become an even more powerful ally. Wanda found strength in herself and in her extraordinary relationship with one highly unique individual, Vision. Marvel Studios: Legends explores Wanda’s story as she grapples with cruel hardships and loss, a chaotic power that she strives to control, and shifting loyalties from those she trusts most.
VISION
Born into the world in Avengers: Age of Ultron Vision chooses to fight on the side of humanity, though he himself is an artificial form of life. Marvel Studios: Legends follows Vision on his quest to understand humans more fully, evolving to be more like them, as he explores a romantic relationship with Wanda Maximoff in Captain America: Civil War. All of this leads to his final moments, as he makes the ultimate sacrifice for mankind, leaving those he loved to an uncertain future.
Disney+ revealed a new trailer for WandaVision during the Disney Investor Day presentation. The trailer showcased the mind-bending action that the series has been hinting at with its various posters and clips. It also gave a first look at Randall Park's Agent Jimmy Woo and Kat Dennings' Darcy Lewis, who will reprise their roles from the Ant-Man and Thor films, respectively.
New details regarding WandaVision have slowly been released, though the plot still remains a mystery. A black-and-white image of Wanda showed how the show will incorporate tropes from the Golden Age of Television, such as a married couple sleeping in separate bedrooms -- a staple in shows such as I Love Lucy and The Dick Van Dyke Show.
Marvel Studios: Legends premieres Jan. 8, 2021 on Disney+.
