WARNING: The following contains major spoilers for Spider-Man: No Way Home, now playing in theaters.

Rumors suggest Daredevil star Charlie Cox will reprise his role as Matt Murdock in multiple upcoming Disney+ shows, including next year's She-Hulk, Moon Knight, Echo and more.

The rumors, which were allegedly leaked by an inside source at Marvel before being posted to Reddit, spilled numerous details about the She-Hulk series releasing in 2022. The leaker alleged that Cox will guest star in two of the season's ten episodes, making appearances both as Matt Murdock the defense attorney and the vigilante known as Daredevil. The source also indicated that She-Hulk will set up Cox's Daredevil as a "major player" for the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and the character will appear in future Disney+ shows Moon Knight, Echo, Iron Heart and Armor Wars.

According to the leaker, one episode of the series will see Tatiana Maslany's Jennifer Walters/She-Hulk taking up a case against a superhero tailor. However, Matt Murdock will be the tailor's defense attorney, and will "school" Walters in court before going out with her for drinks. The two will hit it off, eventually leading to a crime-fighting team-up between She-Hulk and Daredevil. Daredevil will reportedly wear a new red-and-yellow costume that harkens back to the comic book version of his suit with the same color scheme, but the yellow will be more subdued for its onscreen appearance.

Previous rumors hinted that Daredevil could appear in She-Hulk, with one report alleging that Cox would return to play a "different" Daredevil than the actor portrayed in the Netflix series of the same name. However, the newest leaks seem to speak to the contrary, with the report explicitly stating that his character in She-Hulk will be "very much the same Matt Murdock from the Netflix series."

Netflix's Daredevil ran for three seasons between 2015 and 2018. The show received high marks from critics and drew in huge viewership from audiences, with Cox's nuanced performance of The Man Without Fear earning heaps of praise across the board. However, the series was ultimately canceled following the end of the Marvel/Netflix partnership and the launch of Disney+.

Earlier in December, Daredevil made headlines when Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige confirmed that Cox would be the MCU's Daredevil if the character were to someday return. As it turned out, fans didn't have to wait very long; Cox made a cameo as Murdock for one scene in Spider-Man: No Way Home, which hit theaters only a few weeks after the announcementIn addition to the latest rumors of Murdock's future MCU appearances, one alleged document that leaked earlier this year seemingly confirmed a solo Daredevil project is in the works.

Disney+'s She-Hulk is releasing sometime in 2022, although it has yet to receive an official release window. Like the Marvel comics, She-Hulk will operate as a comedy and a legal drama in addition to its superhero story elements. Alongside Maslany as the eponymous heroine, She-Hulk will star Ginger Gonzaga (Togetherness), Renée Elise Goldsberry (Hamilton) and Jameela Jamil (The Good Place) in supporting roles. Mark Ruffalo will also reprise his MCU role as Bruce Banner/The Hulk, as will Tim Roth as Emil Blonsky/The Abomination.
