The Disney+ streaming service is set to launch on Nov. 12, but there remain questions about what will be available on day one. For Star Wars fans, it's doubly intriguing, as the platform will soon become the only place to stream the blockbuster franchise.

What will be available on launch, however, was a mystery until recently, when CNET scoured the internet and uncovered the full extent of Disney+'s line-up of films and series, from launch until into its second year or so. While anything beyond this information is up to speculation, this guide should offer you a clear perspective on what Star Wars material will be available, and when.

Launch Day

Upon launch, Disney+ will offer Star Wars Episodes I-VII (The Phantom Menace, Attack of the Clones, Revenge of the Sith, A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens), and Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.

Also available will be the entirety of the animated Star Wars Rebels and the first six seasons of Star Wars: The Clone Wars. In addition, Disney+ will launch its own original series, Star Wars: The Mandalorian.

Obviously, there are several Star Wars properties not included on day one, so when can we expect them to arrive on Disney+?

Over the Next Year

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker

Several Star Wars properties are unavailable at Disney+'s launch, and will remain on Netflix until the contracts expire over the course of the next year. Once they do expire, however, fans can expect Star Wars: The Last Jedi and Solo: A Star Wars Story.

The eagerly awaited 12-episode seventh season of Star Wars: The Clone Wars will also arrive on Disney+ sometime in 2020.

Additionally, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker will be released directly on Disney+ once the conclusion of the Skywalker Saga hits digital. That will make it the first Star Wars film to go straight from theaters to Disney+.

Beyond That?

Many of the announcements pertaining to Star Wars' future don't have concrete details. There are plans for more Disney+ series, but, as of now, we only know for sure about one. This is unlike Marvel, who have several planned series set for release up into 2021.

Sometime after the first year, fans can expect the untitled Star Wars series featuring Cassian Andor. After that, the future remains unwritten. Presumably, the upcoming Star Wars trilogy, whose first entry will be released in December 2022, will be brought to the Disney+ streaming service following theatrical release.

Additionally, executive producer Jon Favreau is already working on a second season of The Mandalorian, although no release date has been announced.

While we don't know the distant future of Star Wars, we at least know this: Disney+ will become, within a year, the exclusive streaming service for the galaxy far, far away.
