The first Marvel Studios original series for Disney+, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, has officially wrapped principal photography in Atlanta.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe miniseries had been filming in Georgia since this past October, with local production reporting that filming had wrapped as scheduled and will relocate for additional photography in other planned locations. Two weeks of filming had been planned in Puerto Rico but, due to recent earthquakes across the island, production was postponed and may move to a different location entirely.

A brief synopsis teased that the upcoming series will see Sam Wilson, also known as Falcon, and Bucky Barnes, also known as the Winter Soldier, team-up for a global mission that will push both men to their limits. Unfortunately, as is the case for most MCU projects, the specifics of the plot remain under wraps. The miniseries has a reported production budget of $150 million and will consist of six episodes.

Directed by Kari Skogland, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier stars Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Emily VanCamp, Wyatt Russell, Noah Mills and Daniel Brühl. The series will be available on Disney+ this fall.
