Disney CEO Bob Chapek announced that Disney+ gained 12 million subscribers over the past month at its 2020 Disney Investors Day.

Chapek showed that, as of Dec. 2, the streaming platform is currently sitting at 86.8 million subscribers. This number increases to 137 million subscribers when incorporating both Hulu and ESPN+. That number has increased as well from the 120 million subscribers stated last month.

Just last month, Disney announced the streamer was nearing 74 million subscribers. The streamer's exponential growth came just over a year after it was launched in the U.S with titles such as The Mandalorian, High School Musical: The Musical: The Series and Lady and the Tramp. Other originals include the seventh season of Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Black Beauty.

Priced at $6.99/month, Disney+ is currently available in over 30 territories. The service includes content from Disney's extensive catalog, including Walt Disney Animation Studios, 20th Century Studios, Searchlight Studios, Pixar, Marvel Studios, Lucasfilm, National Geographic, ESPN and more. Disney+ can be bundled with other Disney streaming platforms Hulu and ESPN+ for the price of $13/month.
