Marvel fans headed to Disneyland and Disney World next month can look forward to a little extra magic:  Beginning Oct. 7, the Orlando, Florida, and Anaheim, California, theme parks will screen a 10-minute sneak peek of Marvel's "Doctor Strange."

The previews will vary slightly from park to park. At Disney California Adventure, the preview will be presented in 3D with "special in-theater effects." However, at Disney's Hollywood Studio in Florida, the preview is a regular screening as part of the multimedia One Man's Dream attraction, which celebrates Walt Disney himself. More details can be found on the Disney Parks blog.

The Disney announcement doesn't hint at what sort of scenes will be included, but it won't be a continuous stretch. The 10-minute sneak peek is advertised as an "advance look at clips from the film," which suggests a selection of shorter scenes.

Disney previously released a featurette on the world of "Doctor Strange," as well as a number of high-resolution stills.

Marvel’s Doctor Strange follows the story of the talented neurosurgeon Doctor Stephen Strange who, after a tragic car accident, must put ego aside and learn the secrets of a hidden world of mysticism and alternate dimensions. Based in New York City’s Greenwich Village, Doctor Strange must act as an intermediary between the real world and what lies beyond, utilizing a vast array of metaphysical abilities and artifacts to protect the Marvel cinematic universe.

Directed by Scott Derrickson from a script by C. Robert Cargill and Jon Spaihts, "Doctor Strange" stars Benedict Cumberbatch, Rachel McAdams, Tilda Swinton, Mads Mikkelsen and Chiwetel Ejiofor. The film opens Nov. 4.
