Alexander Molony, in his first major credited role, will portray the eponymous leader of Neverland's Lost Boys after starring in the Disney Junior series Claude. Ever Anderson will portray Wendy, a young girl who accompanies Peter to his faraway fantasy world. Anderson, the daughter of Milla Jovovich, previously portrayed a younger version of her mother's character Alice in Resident Evil: The Final Chapter and will portray a younger Natasha Romanoff in this summer's Black Widow.

Peter Pan is the latest live-action remake of a classic Disney animated film, following this month's remake of Mulan. The project was initially linked to Disney+ before subsequent reports listed it for a potential theatrical release.

Based on the J.M. Barrie novel, Peter Pan follows a boy who travels to Neverland where he never grows up. Leading a motley crew of wayward children known as the Lost Boys, Peter faces the villainous Captain Hook for control of the fantasy land.
