Disney's live-action Lady and the Tramp has managed to secure a fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

One of the original films included with the launch of Disney+, Lady and the Tramp is a live-action remake of the animated classic and stars Tessa Thompson (Thor: Ragnarok) and Justin Theroux (The Leftovers), both of whom voice the titular characters. While many critics noted the remake lacks the spark of the 1955 animated film, they have generally agreed it's a cute enough remake that is still enjoyable, albeit if unnecessary. So it's not entirely surprising then that, after 33 reviews, the film is sitting at 64% on Rotten Tomatoes.

That puts it close to the audience rating, thus far, which is currently sitting at 67% after 43 user ratings. With the film now streaming on Disney+, expect that number to change in the coming days, once the glitches from launch day (hopefully) settle enough for users to successfully stream all of Disney's offerings.

Lady and the Tramp stars Tessa Thompson as Lady, Justin Theroux as Tramp, Sam Elliott as Trusty, Ashley Jensen as Jock, Benedict Wong as Bull, Janelle Monáe as Peg, Kiersey Clemons as Darling Dear, Thomas Mann as Jim Dear, Yvette Nicole Brown as Aunt Sarah, Arian Martinez as Elliot and Arturo Castro as Marco. The is currently streaming exclusively on Disney+.
