Dwayne Johnson has released a new photo from the set of Disney's Jungle Cruise movie, in which he is playing the part of a riverboat captain named Frank.

The black-and-white picture shows Johnson in a boat captain's getup working on his wooden boat with a bucket and a brush. He could be painting the boat or sealing it with tar in the old-fashioned way since the movie will be set in the 1930s.

"A skipper must always take care of the love of his life," Johnson wrote in his Instagram post. "Very productive week of shooting our Disney's Jungle Cruise. Outstanding crew & filmmakers makin’ something pretty cool ~ me and Emily Blunt are excited to bring ya this epic adventure next summer. On the river, unimaginable danger lurks everywhere."

This isn't the first photo The Rock has shared from the set of the film. Previously, he posted an image of him and co-star Jack Whitehall holding a massive python snake. This fits the premise of the film, where riverboat captain Frank (Johnson) takes a scientist (Emily Blunt) and her brother (Whitehall) on a quest in the jungle, where they have to fend off dangerous wildlife along the way.

Jungle Cruise, which is based on Disney Parks’ classic attraction of the same name, is directed by Jaume Collet-Serra and stars Dwayne Johnson, Jack Whitehall, Emily Blunt, Jesse Plemons, Paul Giamatti and Èdgar Ramírez. The movie hits theaters July 24, 2020.
