Disney is hinting at something "incredible" for Saturday, and all signs point to it being the teaser trailer for director Brad Bird's long-awaited The Incredibles 2.
The eight-second clip begins with the phrase, "Something incredible is coming tomorrow," with the superhero team's logo circling the letter I in "incredible." Another clue is the familiar theme for the family of superheroes is playing in the background. Finally, the childlike sound of infant son Jack-Jack giggling closes the clip.
The film was originally set to open in June 2019, but its release date was moved to June 15, 2018; another Pixar sequel, Toy Story 4, slipped into the date previously occupied by The Incredible 2.
Tracking Board has also announced two new additions to the film's voice cast: Bob Odenkirk and Catherine Keener.
The Incredibles 2 is a sequel to the critically cclaimed 2004 superhero film, which grossed $633 million globally and $70.4 million domestically. The film had, at the time, the second-highest opening for an animated movie.
Arriving in theaters June 15, 2018, The Incredibles 2 is directed by Brad Bird and stars Craig T. Nelson, Samuel L. Jackson, Holly Hunter, Sarah Vowell, Huck Milner, John Ratzenberger, Bob Odenkirk, and Catherine Keener.
