Ever since the release of Frozen 2's teaser trailer, we've known that Elsa and Anna would venture out from Arendelle and into uncharted territory for a darker, more magical adventure.

Now, with the release of the film's latest trailer, we finally have a few more clues as to what will spark this mysterious new journey.

Elsa's mission comes directly from Grand Pabbie, the elder troll who helped the Queen of Arendelle learn about her powers in the first film. "The past is not what it seems," he warns. "You must find the truth," he adds, before setting her on a journey North of Arendelle, beyond the Enchanted Lands "and into the unknown."

Why was Elsa born with magical powers? The answer is calling her and threatening her kingdom. Together with Anna, Kristoff, Olaf and Sven, she'll set out on a dangerous but remarkable journey. In Frozen, Elsa feared her powers were too much for the world. In Frozen 2, she must hope they are enough.
