Following the massive success of his Alice in Wonderland adaptation which lit up the 2010 box office, director Tim Burton is teaming up with Disney again, this time helming a remake of the studio’s animated classic, Dumbo. Now, thanks to Disney’s official Twitter account, we know when the film is set to release, accompanied by a behind-the-scenes look at Burton on the project’s set.

The news was reported during the studio’s in-house expo D23, and the convention’s Twitter feed also confirmed prior reports as to who would be starring in the film, and yes, it appears that Dumbo is going to be a Batman Returns reunion of sorts. Danny DeVito and Michael Keaton have secured roles in the remake after reports of their negotiations surfaced back in April, and Colin Farrell and Eva Green round out the star-studded cast.

The original Dumbo followed the story of a baby elephant ridiculed for his abnormally large ears. With the help of his friend, Timothy Q. Mouse, the young elephant learns to unleash his full potential when he discovers his ability to fly using the ears as wings.
Dumbo continues Disney’s latest trend of bringing live-action versions of its beloved properties to life, with The Jungle Book and Beauty and the Beast being the most recent additions to an ever-growing catalog. Dumbo flies into theaters March 29, 2019.
