Disney has acquired the feature film rights for an adaptation of Tony Cliff's acclaimed "Delilah Dirk And The Turkish Lieutenant" graphic novel.

According to Deadline, Disney's live-action adaptation is still seeking writers. Roy Lee, Mark Mower and Justin Giritlian are producing the upcoming film.

"Delilah Dirk And The Turkish Lieutenant" has received positive attention from mainstream literary outlets -- having been included on the New York Times Bestseller list in 2013 -- in addition to earning Eisner, Shuster and Harvey nominations for Cliff.
