You'll soon be able to enjoy a little time in the sun with Darth Vader and Chewbacca on a Disney cruise ship.

Early next year, Disney Cruise Line will offer a "Star Wars Day at Sea" during eight Western Caribbean voyages of the Disney Fantasy.

Targeting "Younglings, Padawans and Jedi Masters alike," each of the one-day celebrations will include a deck party, meet-and-greets with characters like Darth Vader, Chewbacca and Boba Fett, a Jedi Training Academy for kids, and screenings of all six Star Wars films and the animated series Star Wars Rebels.

The cruise also promises franchise celebrities and insiders, and, for the adults, a chance for a night out at the Mos Eisley cantina, complete with familiar characters and music.

Disney, which purchased Lucasfilm in 2012 for $4.06 billion, added Marvel's Avengers Academy to its flagship Disney Magic in 2014."

"Star Wars Day at Sea" will be on Disney Fantasy cruises sailing in 2016 on Jan. 9 and 23, Feb. 6 and 20, March 5 and 19, April 2 and 16. The ship departs from Port Canaveral, Florida, for a seven-night itinerary that includes stops in Cozumel, Mexico, Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands, and Disney's private island in the Bahamas.
