It's official: "Captain America: Civil War" will be the longest Marvel Studios film yet.

Disney confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter that "Civil War" will run for 2 hours and 27 minutes. This is just one minute longer than earlier rumors indicated.

At 147 minutes, "Civil War" will be four minutes longer than 2012's "Avengers," which was formerly the longest Marvel Studios film. Like "Avengers," "Civil War" boasts a large ensemble cast, including Iron Man, Black Widow and more.

Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo and starring Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan and more, "Captain America: Civil War" opens on May 6, 2016.
