By the start of December 2019, Disney had amassed over $10 billion with help from the year's most successful films, including Avengers: Endgame, The Lion King, Captain Marvel, Toy Story 4, Aladdin, Frozen 2 and The Rise of Skywalker. By the end of the year, however, Disney surpassed its previous record. Excluding 20th Century Fox's movie totals, Disney earned $11.12 billion worldwide.

According to Variety, Disney is responsible for 33% of all domestic box offices for 2019. Additionally, a majority of the aforementioned films have surpassed $1 billion internationally. The Rise of Skywalker is the only outlier with $815.7 million at the worldwide box office, but it will likely join the $1 billion club soon.

This totals a record-setting $11.12 billion worldwide. These numbers do not reflect the grosses from this year’s 20th Century Fox releases. However, if Fox is included in the total, Disney’s worldwide gross adds up to $13.15 billion.
