Digimon voice actor Philece Sampler, known for voicing the character of Mimi Tachikawa, has passed away at the age of 67 after suffering a heart attack.

The actor was prolific in the world of animation, offering her voice acting talents to over 50 animated productions and several video games. Sampler is perhaps best known for voicing Mimi Tachikawa from the Digimon franchiseShe first voiced the character in the 1999 English dub of Digimon Adventure and most recently reprised the role in 2018's Digimon Adventure tri. Sampler also provided the voices for several other characters throughout the series, including Cody in Digimon Adventure 02, Alice in Digimon Tamers, Nanami in Digimon Data Squad, Jeri from Digimon Tamers: Runaway Locomon and various other miscellaneous characters.

The actress found her start on Days of Our Lives, where she played Renee DuMonde between 1981 and 1983. She went on to join the TV series Rituals and Another World, before beginning her career in voice acting with the 1996 animated adaptation of The Incredible Hulk, where she played Betty Ross.

Sampler also provided the voice for roles such as the older Toph in The Legend of Korra, Lori in Zatch Bell, Beauty in Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo, Hiyori Tamura in Lucky Star, Goten in Dragon Ball Super and many, many more.
