It's that time of year again! As with every holiday season, people are once more arguing over how to classify Die Hard: is it a Christmas movie or not? Well, 20th Century Fox has planted their flag in the ground with a decisive "Yes." Today, the studio released a new Christmas trailer for one of the greatest action films of all time.

In the end, the classification of this movie's Christmas status isn't really important. However, the fact that so many people have incorporated the film into their yearly holiday tradition speaks volumes about the cultural impact a film can have with it hits all of its marks just right.

This holiday-themed trailer for the action classic also promotes the new 4k Blu-ray remasters of the whole franchise. The Die Hard - Christmas Edition, which is available on Blu-ray, Digital and 4K, contains all five Die Hard films as well as four exclusive holiday cards. The announcement was paired with a poem:

'Twas the night before Christmas, at Nakatomi Plaza,

The office party was festive, but soon interrupted by drama.

Hans Gruber and his men, had forced their way in,

And taken everyone hostage, trapping them within.

But how could they know, there was a cop up above,

John McClane had arrived, to win back his wife's love.

He would take them all out, winning everyone's praise,

Welcoming Christmas Day, with his favorite catchphrase.

YIPPEE KI YAY!

In addition to the original, all four sequels are available as well: Die Hard 2, Die Hard With a Vengence, Live Free or Die Hard and the much-maligned A Good Day to Die Hard.
