Welcome to the party, pal! USAopoly has announced a brand-new Die Hard tabletop game – the perfect choice for infusing your game night with a little ‘80s action movie energy.

Die Hard: The Nakatomi Heist Board Game is the first officially licensed board game based on the 1988 John McTiernan film. As described by the publisher, players will take on the role of either John McClane or the thieves working to stop him, playing against one another in “one-versus-many, asymmetric gameplay.”

The game also promises to be stuffed “to the air vents” with callbacks and Easter eggs from the movie. No word, however, on whether players are required to take off their shoes first.

Die Hard’s influence over the action-thriller genre is staggering, so we were beyond excited for the opportunity to harness the movie’s expert blend of action, intelligence and drama into a unique tabletop experience,” Pat Marino, USAopoly’s lead game designer said. “We are developing a game that will deeply resonate with Die Hard enthusiasts, incorporating even the slightest details to create a rich and entertaining experience that properly pays tribute to arguably the greatest action movie of all time.”
