Diamond Named Bookstore Distributor for Blue Line Pro

Press Release

Diamond Book Distributors and Blue Line Productions have reached an agreement naming Diamond the exclusive U.S. and non-exclusive worldwide distributor of Blue Line Pro's English-language graphic novels to the bookstore, library, warehouse club, and mass merchandise markets.

Known primarily for its renowned comics art supplies and papers, the Florence, KY-based Blue Line Pro is also the publisher of Sketch Magazine and a number of noted graphic novels, including Parts Unknown, StormQuest: TimeStorm, and Little White Mouse.

"Blue Line Pro's long experience with comics art supplies has given it unique insight into successful comics storytelling," said Diamond Vice President of Purchasing Bill Schanes, "resulting in a line of graphic novels that is as critically acclaimed as it is enjoyed by fans."

"We have been working with Diamond since day one of BLP's existence," said Bob Hickey, Creative Director and Publisher for Blue Line Pro, "and we look forward to creatively expanding on the possibilities that DBD offers us with our comic trades, how-to-series books and Sketch Magazine collections."

Diamond's Sales Team will begin working with bookstores, book wholesalers, warehouse clubs, mass merchandisers, and libraries to place Blue Line Pro's graphic novels across the country. "Few companies have a better understanding of the comics industry than Blue Line Pro," Schanes added, "making it a valuable addition to the DBD family."
