Collectible Grading Authority (CGA) has been acquired by Diamond Comic Distributors (DCD), distributor of English comics, graphic novels and pop culture merchandise. Other grading brands under the CGA umbrella include Action Figure Authority (AFA), Video Game Authority (VGA), Die-Cast Authority (DCA) and Collectible Doll Authority (CDA).

Diamond and CGA will now be a part of Geppi Family Enterprises (GFE) under the ownership of Steve Geppi, which also includes Diamond Comic Distributors, Diamond UK, Diamond Book Distributors, Alliance Game Distributors, Diamond Select Toys, Gemstone Publishing, E. Gerber, and Hake’s Auctions among others.
