Devil's Due hires Senier Editor, "G.I. Joe: Master & Apprentice" expanded; more Devil's due news

Official Press Release

A lot is happening with Devil's Due Publishing, and sometimes it's just too much to cover everything in individual announcements. So below we've provided a number of updates on current happenings:

G.I.JOE: MASTER AND APPRENTICE reveals the origin of KAMAKURA, apprentice to the ever popular SNAKE-EYES. Kamakura was created by former G.I.JOE writer and Devil's Due president, Joshua Blaylock in the current ongoing G.I.JOE: A REAL AMERICAN HERO series, and has since been brought to life as a G.I.JOE action figure. MASTER AND APPRENTICE is written by Brandon Jerwa with art by Stefano Caselli and Sunder Raj.

The number of misbound copies is thought to be under five hundred, but Devil's Due encourages concerned readers to notify their retailers. More are in stock at Diamond, and new copies may be ordered. Readers may also send defective books to Devil's Due Publishing, ATTN: H/S MISPRINT, 4619 N. Ravenswood Ave, Ste. 204, Chicago, IL 60640, and a replacement will be sent at no extra charge.

HACK/SLASH stars Cassie Hack, the daughter of a notorious undead SLASHER, and her sidekick, VLAD, as they scour the country, killing these monstrosities… again. Cassie and crew were created by Tim Seeley and Stefano Caselli. Weeks ago, HACK/SLASH was optioned by Prime Universe, the production company of movie producer Adrian Askarieh, and is making the rounds in the video game circuit as well.

Misplaced was originally released through Image Comics for the first two issues, and issue three debuted from Devil's Due in February.

An all new VOLTRON: DEFENDER OF THE UNIVERSE animated series is currently in the works, based on the new style of the Devil's Due comic books.

WarStone, described as INDEPENDENCE DAY VIA LORD OF THE RINGS, is a post-modern fantasy adventure in which a land of Wizards, Dragons and Elves invade present day Earth in search of a new supply of magic, which is dwindling in their world. The super-sized one-shot hits stands in May.

For the foreseeable future, all submissions will be forwarded to Powers or assistant.
