As the world of Pokémon gets ready to make the transition to live-action with the upcoming release of Detective Pikachu, a new trailer on YouTube shows fans the world of Pokémon, set to the tune of Louis Armstrong's "What a Wonderful World."

Uploaded by Ryan Reynolds himself, the trailer treats viewers to an opening scene of a forest before Pokémon such as Charmander and Bulbasaur appear. The film's protagonist, Tim Goodman (Justice Smith), carries an unconscious Pikachu (Reynolds).

As the trailer continues, it moves to Ryme City, where viewers see even more Pokémon show up, while also seeing how they interact with humans. Among the ones to appear are Jigglypuff, Pangoro, Snubbull and the always hilarious Psyduck, who gets to hug Pikachu in a later scene.

Before the trailer ends, Pikachu tells Tim that if his father were there, he would hug him so hard, his bones would pop, just before the movie's title logo appears.

The line more worthy of Deadpool at the ending aside, the trailer shows fans the scope of the movie's world by showcasing a wide variety of Pokémon. It also highlights the more heartwarming aspect of the franchise, both with its choice of song and the scenes with Tim and Pikachu, indicating the growing friendship between the two, which may make longtime fans even more anxious for the film.
