The second trailer for Detective Pikachu brings with it a look at more Pokémon that will play a role in the action-comedy mystery film. Along with all of the previously shown Pokémon, there are a number of new reveals that hint at just how packed the feature will be with the popular pocket monsters.

If you're not one for pausing and searching trailers for every single Pokémon, don't worry: We have you covered with this breakdown. Here is every previously unseen Pokémon that appears in the new Detective Pikachu trailer.

Joltik

Detective Pikachu-Joltik

There's a closer look at a Pokémon originally perceived to be in the first trailer, although it was difficult to find: Joltik, an electric bug Pokémon from Generation V. It's a little hard to identify these power line-walking Pokémon at first, but judging by the tail spikes and that they're on electrical lines, they're almost certainly Joltik.

However, those fluffy butts could very well also belong to the round beaver-like Pokémon, Bidoof, although our money is still on Joltik.

Ludicolo

The next Pokémon featured in the trailer is Ludicolo, the final evolution of Lotad that evolves from Lombre. A water and grass-type Pokémon, Ludicolo is shown working alongside its owner as a server in a diner.

Ludicolo's appearance is a bit disturbing -- some are comparing it to Philadelphia Flyers mascot, Gritty -- but as we've discussed before, the film could benefit from diverse designs of real Pokémon; some cute, some kind of gross. Regardless, we can't help but agree that Ludicolo's appearance in the film borders on "murderous Muppet," especially when it speaks.

Golurk, Arcanine, Kingler & Slacking

Detective Pikachu

There's a lot to break down in this scene, the most notable being the appearance of not one, but two Golurks, Ground/Ghost-type Pokémon that seem to serve as guards for Ryme City's Police Department. They're not the only prominent Pokémon, as two Growlithes can be seen as well -- although a Growlithe was previously shown in an earlier teaser. What weren't shown were Arcanines, of which there are two in this image.

But, there's more; in the far back, a Slaking -- which had a cameo in the shadows of the first trailer — can be seen lounging around under the highway bridge. Additionally, just below the Slaking, the giant claw and crown-like head of a Kingler are visible behind a police car and the second Arcanine.

Snorlax, Machamp & Pancham

This next image also reveals a few Pokémon. First, let's address the giant sleeping furball in the room, Snorlax, who is doing what he does best, blocking a crossroad, a reference to a recurring gag in the game series.

Machamp, a fighting-type Pokémon, is also featured, seen here using its multiple arms for the very fitting task of directing traffic. Machamp made a cameo in the first trailer as a silhouette in a fighting poster, but this trailer marks its first real appearance. Similarly, Pancham previously popped up in a "missing" poster, and makes its first official film debut in this part of the trailer.

Loudred

In the first trailer, we got a glimpse of what appeared to be a Gym or some kind of underground Pokémon fighting arena. This new footage has given us a better look at the arena, revealing that its audio-visual setup mimics the fighting systems of the games, as seen by the "Critical Hit" appearing behind the announcer and DJ.

But, more importantly, this moment reveals Loudred, seen here acting as the arena's sound system, which is why there are a lot of them hanging around.

Blastoise & Gengar

Detective Pikachu

Also revealed in this arena scene aree two major Pokémon, Blastoise and Gengar. The former can be seen fighting against an army of the latter, although this is likely the result of Gengar using Double Team or some similar illusion-duplicate attack. Gengar had previously been featured as a giant balloon in the background of the first trailer, but this is the first time we've seen the Pokémon in the flesh, so to speak.

Although its brief appearance is rather blurry, the inclusion of Blastoise is a big deal, as the water-type is a major fan favorite and the final evolution of one of the original starter Pokémon.

Cubone

Detective Pikachu New Pokémon Cubone

Another Generation I Pokémon is revealed in the form of Cubone, an adorable ground-type with the saddest backstory in the entire Pokémon franchise. As many fans of the games know, the skull that Cubone wears on its head is that of its deceased mother. Who knows if we'll see this aspect of the Pokémon explored in the film, but if it is, you better have the tissues ready.

Flareon

Detective Pikachu

While its prior form, Eevee, has yet to be revealed, this footage features the inclusion of Flareon, the fire-type that results from giving an Eevee a Fire Stone. Eevee and its many evolutionary paths are a big part of the series, so we can't imagine the adorable Pokémon won't be making an appearance, and the same goes for the other evolutions.

This moment also included some cameos of Dialga and Palkia, the main legendaries from the Diamond and Pearl games, as well as Arceus, all of which appear in statue form.

Treecko & Rattata

Detective Pikachu

Back to the arena, where we have two more Pokémon, Rattata and Treecko. Rattata, a very basic Pokémon from the first generation of games, can be seen in the bottom-left corner, apparently excited and ready to get into the ring. Treecko, the grass-type starter of Generation III, is a little harder to spot, but you can find him up in the top right, sitting in the upper stands.

Octillery & Audino

Aside from a trying but failing to attack Pikachu, there are four Pokémon visible in this part shot. Two have been seen clearly before: Lickitung, in the previous teaser, and Pancham, who appeared earlier in this one.

The other two Pokémon are new to the film. Octillery, an Octopus-like Pokémon can be seen next to Pancham in the bottom-left, looking ready to battle. Audino is closer to the bottom-center, and while the Pokémon could partially be seen in the film's first trailer, this is its first mostly unobstructed appearance.

Mewtwo

The final, and perhaps biggest, Pokémon revealed in the trailer is none other than Mewtwo. A psychic-type clone of another legendary Pokémon, Mew, Mewtwo flies through an exploding Pikachu parade balloon, and floating up over the wreckage in the final moments of the trailer.

The artificially created Pokémon was one of the first legendaries in the series, and its inclusion in the film has got fans more excited than ever for its release.

Directed by Rob Letterman, Detective Pikachu stars Justice Smith, Kathryn Newton, Ken Watanabe and the voice of Ryan Reynolds. The film opens in theaters on May 10.
