A German poster for Warner Bros.' upcoming Detective Pikachu showcases some of the many Pokémon set to feature in the franchise's long-awaited live-action Hollywood debut.Set against the film's Ryme City backdrop, the poster sees Justice Smith's Tim Goodman on a rooftop with the titular sleuth, voiced by Ryan Reynolds. Meanwhile, Pokémon from across the gaming series' 20-year history hide in plain sight.

While regulars such as Psyduck and Snorlax hide behind the windows of a skyscraper, two Aipom monkeys hover around the film's logo. More recent additions to the franchise, like Loudred, Castform and Goomy are also present.

The poster suggests the film will release in Germany on May 9 -- one day earlier than the U.S. The image comes as part of a marketing push toward launch, joining a similarly colorful poster for the Chinese market and a new TV spot.

Directed by Rob Letterman from a script written by Dan Hernandez and Benji Samit, Detective Pikachu stars Justice Smith, Kathryn Newton, Ken Watanabe and the voice of Ryan Reynolds. The film opens in theaters on May 10.
