A Detective Pikachu parody video replaces everyone's favorite fuzzy, yellow lightning-shooting Pokemon with none other than Ryan Reynolds' Deadpool.

The "Detective Deadpool" trailer hails from geek site Space Taste and splices in footage from both of Fox's Deadpool movies, as well as marketing clips, while swapping out Pikachu. The clip is smartly edited using Reynolds' same voice-work from the latest trailer, pitting the Merc with a Mouth as the hero of this new adventure.

The trailer pokes fun at how Deadpool gets assigned to this new mission using footage of Justice Smith's Tim Goldman scenes, as well as all the other Pokemon in the movie, such as Cubone, Eevee and Greninja. This action-packed tale finds Wade Wilson using guns and katanas to solve the disappearance of Tim's dad Harry, which drives the plot of Detective Pikachu.
