Derek Wilson Joins Seth Rogen’s Sci-Fi Gamer Comedy ‘Future Man’

Derek Wilson is the newest cast member to join Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg’s sci-fi comedy pilot “Future Man.”

Wilson — who is currently co-starring in AMC’s “Preacher” — will co-star in “Future Man,” alongside “The Hunger Games” star Josh Hutcherson and “Scrubs” alum Eliza Coup.

Wilson will play Wolf, a soldier in a video game who is desensitized to violence and hardened after years of fighting. His character has no faith that Josh Futterman (Hutcherson) can carry out his mission of protecting and saving the world.

Rogen and Goldberg will both produce and direct the pilot, which will premiere on Hulu if the pilot gets ordered for a full series. Wilson can also be seen on AMC’s “Preacher” debut on May 22.
