Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba - The Movie: Mugen Train smashed multiple cinema records upon its release on Oct. 16, 2020, becoming a fan-favorite and the highest-grossing anime film of all time. Soon, fans will be able to own their own Mugen Train that serves sushi!

According to Natalie, Takara Tomy Arts, a subsidiary of the Japanese entertainment company Tomy, has created a sushi train based on the popular anime series Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba and its "Mugen Train" story arc. It can easily pull up to four trolleys with each carrying a small plate with food. The Mugen Train Sushi Edition includes a loop track and a Tanjiro Kamado figurine to protect the train and its sushi cargo from rampaging demons.

The Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba anime is based on the manga of the same name by Koyoharu Gotouge, which was first published in Shueisha's Weekly Shōnen Jump in February 2016. The story follows protagonist Tanjiro as he strives to become a demon hunter after his family was brutally killed and his younger sister Nezuko was transformed into a demon.

The first season of the anime series premiered in Japan on April 6, 2019, on Tokyo MX, GTV, GYT and BS11. It was animated by studio Ufotable (God EaterFate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works) and directed by Haruo Sotozaki (Tales of Symphonia: The Animation, Tales of Zestiria the X). It went on to win a plethora of prestigious awards, including the Best TV Anime, Best Male Character, Best Female Character, Best Theme Song and Best Director categories at the 2019 Newtype Anime Awards. It also won the Anime of the Year grand prize at the Tokyo Anime Awards festival in 2020. The second season of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is ongoing.

Ufotable also animated Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba - The Movie: Mugen Train with Sotozaki returning as director. Many of the cast members from the anime series reprised their roles for the film, including Natsuki Hanae as Tanjiro, Akari Kitō as Nezuko and Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as Inosuke.

Takara Tomy Arts' sushi train isn't the only recent example of Demon Slayer merchandise that has fans excited. For example, a whole host of Halloween-themed products for the series are currently available on Ufotable's website and Premium Bandai has released miniatures of the show's iconic swords.

The Mugen Train Sushi Edition is expected to go on sale in stores in Japan and online in December for a price of 7,480 yen ($65.65 USD). Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is available to stream on Funimation, Crunchyroll, Netflix and Hulu.
