That being said, there's also a lot of things that manga readers know that people who only watch the anime have questions about. Without giving away major spoilers, here's a rundown of some questions anime-only fans have about Demon Slayer that manga readers already know the answer to.

10 When Will We See An Upper Moon Demon?

When it comes to the demons in the series, the most powerful among them are the Twelve Demon Moons, incredibly powerful demons under the direct command of Muzan. The Demon Moons are split evenly into two groups, the Upper Moons and the Lower Moons.

While the Lower Moon demons have been featured in the anime, the Upper Moon demons haven't even so much as made an appearance yet, leaving many anime-only fans wondering when they'll finally show up.

9 Will Tanjiro Master Dance Of The Fire God?

Ask anyone who has seen the anime what their favorite episode is and they'd likely say it's episode 19, the episode that Tanjiro discovered his ability to use Dance of the Fire God during his fight against Rui, the Lower Moon Five demon.

The technique was a spectacular sight, but it did a number on his body because he hadn't fully mastered it yet. Since that episode, Tanjiro has learned to use Total Concentration Breathing continuously, so it's only a matter of time before anime fans will see Tanjiro break out Dance of the Fire God again.

8 What's Inosuke's Backstory?

Even though he's one of the main characters, not much is known about Inosuke's past. He walks around wearing a boar's head and grew up in the wilds of a mountain, but other than that, he's an enigma.

Anime watchers caught some brief glimpses of Inosuke's past during his fight with the spider demon father. It showed him being abandoned by his mother, who appeared to be covered in blood. It raised a lot of questions among viewers about Inosuke, questions that manga readers already know the answers to.

7 Will Zenitsu Ever Be Able To Fight Demons Without Passing Out?

Zenitsu Sleeping

Zenitsu is no doubt a powerful Demon Slayer. His Thunderclap and Flash technique gets viewers hyped and every demon he's faced so far he's killed with only one strike. The only problem is that he can only achieve these feats when he's unconscious.

The first time Zenitsu used Thunderclap and Flash got people hyped, but the second time he used it, people were still hyped but they were also wondering if he would ever be able to fight demons while staying awake.

6 Will Kanao Learn To Follow Her Heart?

With a flip of a coin, Tanjiro convinces Kanao that she must start following her heart. Then he leaves and the season ends. It's clear that Kanao will start breaking out of her shell, it's just a matter of when anime viewers will get to see it.

5 When Will We Get To See The Other Hashira In Action?

Demon Slayer Hashira

Anime viewers have already gotten to see what Giyu Tomioka, the Water Hashira, can do, as well as a bit of what Shinobu Kocho, the Insect Hashira, can do. But the skills of the rest of the Hashira remain a mystery.

While all the Hashira have by now been introduced in the anime, viewers have yet to see them all in action. The Hashira have been hyped up as the best of the best among the Demon Slayers so viewers are eager to see what they can do.

4 What's The Story Behind Tanjiro's Hanafuda Earrings?

Muzan seems to have it out for Tanjiro because of his hanafuda earrings. Viewers caught a glimpse of why Muzan hates those hanafuda earrings in a brief flashback but that only raised more questions.

Though manga readers already know the story behind the earrings, anime viewers are still wondering who the mysterious Demon Slayer that Muzan faced is and how the hanafuda earrings cam to be in Tanjiro's possession. They'll have to wait for those answers, but they're coming.

3 What's Genya's Deal?

Viewers want to know why Genya is the way he is, about what made him so angry. Without getting into details, anime viewers can look forward to learning all about Genya and what makes him tick.

2 Will We See Muzan Go All Out?

As terrifying as Muzan is, anime viewers have only seen a small fraction of what he is really capable of. He was the first demon and went on to create all other demons so surely he'd be impossibly powerful.

Because Muzan gives off major "final boss" vibes, viewers have probably guessed that he won't be going all out until until the final confrontation between himself and the Demon Slayers but it is indeed something anime-only fans will eventually see.

1 Will Nezuko Be Cured?

This is the whole crux of the series. The only reason Tanjiro became a Demon Slayer in the first place was to find Muzan and find a way to turn Nezuko back into a human after Muzan turned her into a demon.

Yes, those who have read the manga already know Nezuko's fate and everything that happens to get to that point, but anime-only fans will have to wait and see for to get their answers. Without giving away too much, progress on a possible demon cure will come sooner than they might expect.
