Obanai Iguro is the snake pillar, he is quite cold, calm, and quiet throughout his short screentime int the anime, but becomes a bashful and shy boy with a crush around Mitsuri. The couple is both delicate and fun with Mitsuri being so in love with love and Obanai being shy and quiet, secretly loving Mitsuri from the background.
In this fan art, the pairing kiss while Obanai is still wearing his bandages. Mitsuri is shedding a few tears as she is wrapped in Obanai's coat. The image is really sweet and extremely tender, allowing viewers to feel their love through the screen.
9 Different Circumstances
Tsukiaki has made two variations of this piece, one with Obanai's bandages and one without. In both, Mitsuri looks at him with the same love and care in her eyes. The artist has also pitched the question, "what if they met under different circumstances?"
This idea really makes viewers think. Their story is a bit tragic due to their life situations, always focusing on demon hunting than their own lives. The two realize a bit too late that they maybe should have focused on themselves a bit more. Mitsuri is an energetic character, almost always having fun and she brings that side out of Obanai as much as possible.

Another piece by HaruichiFujita. While the concept of this image is rather similar to the other piece done by them, the fact that Obanai is without his mouth bandages makes it all the sweeter. Obanai is ashamed of the scars on his mouth.
Throughout the series, he always wears them, covering half of his face. In many of the fan art of these two, Obanai even wears them around Mitsuri. So the fact they get to kiss in this picture, without the shame, is just so much more precious. Mitsuri is also wearing a wedding ring, symbolizing her marriage to Obanai.
2 High School
In this set of art done by @Gwillarmy, they capture Mitsuri and Obanai as if they were in a modern-day high school. The two are obviously dating each other in this version, as can be seen by the first and last image. The couple holds hands, wearing cute charms of each other on their person.
In the last image, Mitsuri surprises Obanai with a kiss on the cheek. The second and third images are solo shots, but also convey the characters in this alternate universe wonderfully. Obanai looks sharp and wears a t-shirt with a similar pattern to his coat in Demon Slayer, while Mitsuri wears a vest and tie that matches her hair colors. It's easy to tell that the pair have crushes on each other.
1 In Another Life
For the final piece, this heartwarming fan art was done in honor of chapter 200, in which the pairing promise to remeet and get married once they are reborn into another life. This hit many fans extremely hard, so all the fan art of them in the afterlife together is both extremely precious and sad.
In this, the couple are happy and together, with no pain or suffering or duty left. They are in a field of flowers as they hold each other and lean in for a kiss. Just like viewers of this will feel, they shed tears that come off as a bittersweet. Bitter death, but what a sweet and wholesome afterlife these two will share until they are born again.
