Also dropping on Sept. 27 is a the Blu-ray release of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba's Mugen Train Arc. The eight-episode arc makes up the first part of the Demon Slayer anime's second season and while it covers the same story that was seen in the record-breaking 2020 movie Mugen Train, the TV version of the arc features newly-animated scenes and content that expand on the original story. Dragon Ball Super is also receiving an epic box set, which will be available beginning Sept. 20. The set, which Crunchyroll is calling "a Collector's Edition of Universal Power" will see all 131 episodes of the 2015 anime series brought together on 20 Blu-ray discs. The box itself features a black-and-white illustration of Shenron, the wish-granting dragon, and the individual discs have colorful artwork of fan-favorite characters like Android 17, God of Destruction Beerus, Future Trunks, Frieza and Goku in his Super Saiyan Blue and Super Saiyan God forms.

Dragon Ball was just one of several previously Funimation-exclusive series that have made their way to Crunchyroll following the merger of the two former competitors in 2021. In May, the animated adaptations of Yasuhiro Nightow's Trigun and Space Dandy made the move to the new platform alongside Black Lagoon, Link Click, Fairy Tail, and Banished from the Hero's Party, I Decided to Live a Quiet Life in the Countryside. Throughout the month of June, more anime like Restaurant to Another World, Hellsing and Hellsing Ultimate and Psycho-Pass will make the transition as well.

Crunchyroll's fall Blu-ray and box set releases are currently available for preorder in the United States and Canada through the streaming service's online store.
