Animation studio Ufotable has released new artwork of the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba cast enjoying their Halloween. The new art and merchandise were revealed on the official Ufotable Twitter account and depicts various members of the Demon Slayer Corps., including the series' central protagonist Tanjiro and his cursed sister Nezuko, celebrating the spooky holiday in new orange and black outfits. Apparently even demons such as Enmu and the murderous Akaza were invited to the celebration, as they are featured in the new art and merchandise as well. A variety of new goods are available, ranging from party supplies such as decorative tape and disposable cups, to more permanent collectibles, such as acrylic stand figures and button badges. The new merch can be ordered directly from Ufotable's website, though it should be noted that the items will be shipped from Japan and probably won't arrive to overseas buyers in time for Halloween.RELATED: Demon Slayer, Platinum End Headline Funimation's Fall Lineup

Ufotable has been regularly releasing new art and other promotional materials to celebrate the recent premiere of Demon Slayer's second season. Earlier this week, the animation company released new illustrations depicting Tanjiro's heart-breaking dream aboard the Mugen Train. The new season recently aired its third episode, but the fourth episode has been delayed until Nov. 7 due to the upcoming Japanese House of Representatives elections.

Demon Slayer's second season began in early October with an original episode that told an all-new story about how the Flame Hashira, Kyojuro Rengoku, made his way onto the demon controlled Mugen Train. The following six episodes of the second season are a retelling of the Mugen Train arc that was covered in the record-breaking Mugen Train movie from 2020, though Ufotable says the TV version of the arc will feature 70 newly animated scenes to make it worth the rewatch for hardcore fans. Following the conclusion of that arc, the entirely brand new and highly anticipated Entertainment District arc will begin its broadcast in December. This second half of Season 2 will adapt the fan-favorite story arc from Koyoharu Gotouge's original manga, which sees Tanjiro, Nezuko and Zenitsu teaming up with the Sound Hashira, Tengen Uzui, as he investigates reports of demon activity within a large city's red light district. The arc will apparently make up the remaining 11 episodes in Demon Slayer's Season 2, which will reportedly only be 18 episodes long.

Both Funimation and Crunchyroll are simulcasting new episodes from Season 2 shortly after they are broadcast in Japan. The original season of the anime is available for streaming on Netflix as well as both of those services, while the Mugen Train movie is streaming exclusively on Funimation.
