Dragon Ball fans are well aware of the God-level powers that the Dragon Balls possess. A dragon called Shenron is summoned through these balls, who in turn grants one wish to whoever possesses all the 7 Dragon Balls. Demon Slayer, like every other anime out there, has characters who desire one thing or the other, with their wishes usually never coming true (especially if it involves dead family members).

If these characters could summon the mighty Shenron, what wishes would they make? It is to be noted that this article contains content related only to what was aired in the first season, since most fans have neither read the manga nor watched the Mugen Train movie.

10 Drum Demon: To Become Part Of The Twelve Kizuki Again

Drum Demon kyogai

Through the flashbacks shown, fans come to learn of Kyogai’s past, where he was turned into a demon by Muzan. However, for some inexplicable reason, he lost a considerable amount of his hunger for human flesh, due to which Muzan excommunicated him from the ranks of the Twelve Kizuki.

Ever since then, he’d become obsessed with regaining that position, including feasting on humans that possessed a rare type of blood which was rumored to be equivalent to consuming 100 humans.

9 Rui: To Get Back His Parents & Tell Them How Much He Actually Loved Them

Rui (Demon Slayer)

The demon Rui’s past was perhaps the most tragic in the series, for he’d murdered his parents on the assumption that they did not accept him for who he was.

His parents wanted their demonic child to kill their village’s people, and had decided to kill themselves after they’d killed Rui.

8 The Hashira: To Eliminate Muzan Kibutsuji, No Matter The Cost

All of the Hashira are only introduced in the 22nd episode of the anime, so they don’t get much character development on screen. The only thing fans know about them is that they exist for only one purpose: to kill Muzan Kibutsuji and end all human suffering at the hands of his demons.

It is implied (but not confirmed) that the death of Muzan would also result in the death of all the demons he’d created. If not, then the Hashira could simply wish for the death of Muzan and all demons who are under his control, which would then spare Tamayo, Yushiro, and Nezuko.

7 Tamayo: To Find A Cure That Turns Demons Back Into Humans

Tamayo the demon doctor sitting by a patient's bedside in Demon Slayer.

Of course, her first wish would be Muzan’s death, but assuming the Hashira wished for that first, her second wish would definitely be to possess enough medical knowledge that would help her come up with a cure for humans who became demons.

While she initially only focused on helping humans who faced injuries via demons, the idea of going further than that and creating an actual cure was triggered by Tanjiro’s goal of finding a yet-to-exist cure for his sister, Nezuko.

6 Yushiro: To Live (& Die) By His Lady Tamayo’s Side

Tamayo and yushiro

Yushiro is clearly in love with Tamayo, to the point of almost being obsessed with her.

His loyalty is understandable, seeing how she was the one who brought him back to life from the brink of death. He believed that staying by her side and protecting her (even if it means dying in the line of duty) would be a life well spent for his dearest Lady Tamayo.

5 Zenitsu: Let Jigoro Kuwajima See The Strong & Courageous Person He’d Become

Even though Zenitsu was still a coward at heart, he’d improved by leaps and bounds when compared to the time he'd trained under Jigoro Kuwajima, whose faith never wavered in the cowardly young boy.

Jigoro’s death left Zenitsu sad, more so since he couldn’t become the fighter that Jigoro wished for him to become. This dream of his was achieved later on, when Zenitsu’s world collided with that of Tanjiro’s, which is something he’d love to share with his sensei.

4 Inosuke: To Become The Strongest Demon Slayer Out There

Throughout the show, Inosuke is shown to be a proud and short-tempered young boy who is so blinded by his over-confidence in his abilities that he refused to accept when he’d lost fights against his opponents.

Even though this behavior tones down a lot by the end of the series, Inosuke still maintains his pride, secretly wishing to always be the strongest person/fighter/slayer in the room.

3 Muzan: To Find & Kill The Boy With The Hanafuda Earrings

There isn’t much that the powerful demon Muzan fears, except an inexplicable obsession with finding the “young demon slayer who wears the hanafuda earrings.” He clearly feels threatened by him, despite never having met Tanjiro before or knowing anything about him.

In fact, he is so afraid that he instantly dispatches two demons to get rid of “that boy,” but to his great shock, those two strong demons are defeated by Tanjiro, along with Nezuko, Tamayo, and Yushiro.

2 Nezuko: To Be Able To Protect Tanjiro At All Costs

Tanjiro And Nezuko (Demon Slayer):

For reasons that aren’t even explained in the manga, Nezuko’s mental state regresses to that of a child’s, wherein she’s incapable of forming complex thoughts.

Her one and only priority is to keep her beloved brother safe, something which is showcased several times in the anime as she almost dies many times to save her brother’s life. Seeing how Tanjiro is her only family (and how she has no recollection of her dead family), she would definitely wish for nothing but his safety.

1 Tanjiro: To Turn Back Time & Have His Family By His Side

tanjiro with his family

Most fans would have assumed that Tanjiro would either want Muzan dead, or turn his sister back into a human again. However, both of those wishes would cease to exist if his family had never been slaughtered.

The anime does not reveal who or why Tanjiro’s family was killed, or if they were simply the unfortunate victims of a random demon’s hunger. Either way, having them back would mean Nezuko never turning into a demon, and Tanjiro never becoming a demon slayer who wanted to kill every demon that crossed his path.
