The Demon Slayer anime laid the foundation for Nezuko not only being a unique demon, but also someone who is exceptionally strong. Even without ever consuming human blood, she has shown remarkable strength and agility when it comes to fighting demons twice her size.

In the battlefield, one of the biggest advantages she has is her ability to heal in the blink of an eye. Not to mention she also possesses Blood Demon Art. With many intelligent and powerful anime girls out there, which ones can Nezuko easily defeat?

10 Akiko Yosano (Bungou Stray Dogs)

Akiko Yosano (Bungou Stray Dogs)

Akiko is one of the most feared characters in her anime, female or otherwise– both for her attitude as well as her ability. However, the biggest drawback of her power is to be able to heal people (including herself) only when they are half dead.

If Nezuko is able to do enough damage to her during a battle— and she can— while not giving her enough time to move or use her abilities, she can easily kill Akiko.

9 Mey-Rin (Black Butler)

As an ace assassin, she never lets a target go. Her weapon of choice is long-ranged a rifle, but she is equally comfortable using a variety of guns in battle, betraying her otherwise innocent looks. Unfortunately, her poor eyesight in close quarters makes her largely ineffective in hand-to-hand fights.

Plus, there is no way she could be able to match the strength and powers of a demon like Nezuko. One kick from Nezuko would easily incapacitate Mey-Rin.

8 Faye (Cowboy Bebop)

Faye Valentine in Cowboy Bebop

When it comes to humans, there is no denying that Faye would almost always have the upper-hand without ever even pulling out any weapons. This is because she’s an extremely smart young woman who makes use of herself and her environment to get out of tricky situations.

But when pit against a creature that is not only immune to her advances, but can crush her easily like an ant, she stands no chance of winning.

7 Togame (Katanagatari)

As a strategist, Togame of the criminally underrated Katanagatari may not have the respect of her peers, but there’s still no denying what an intelligent girl she is. If she were to battle Nezuko, she may have an upper hand if she has her bodyguard Shichika by her side.

In a one-on-one with Nezuko, this mere human who possesses no physical prowess whatsoever, would be defeated in five seconds flat.

6 Mikasa (Attack On Titan)

No doubt, Mikasa is a fearsome warrior who can cut titans 10 times her size into pieces within seconds. However, unlike the titans, Nezuko has two advantages in her favor which Mikasa cannot overcome.

The first is her ability to regenerate almost instantly. The second is her Blood Demon Art, which she can easily use from a distance, thus not giving Mikasa any chance to come near her and harm her physically.

5 Olivier (Fullmetal Alchemist)

Olivier is a force to reckon with. She is abnormally strong, both physically and emotionally. Men twice her size cower in her presence and for good reason. But in the end, she is a mere human.

No matter how skilled she is with a sword or even a gun, there is no way she can match Nezuko’s ever-growing raw strength. One hand chop from Nezuko can easily take Olivier's head off, literally.

4 Abigail (Great Pretender)

With a past as a child soldier who was part of an actual war, Abigail from Great Pretender is perhaps the only person here with actual war experience. If she were to be equipped with a Nichirin sword, there is no denying she could give Nezuko a run for her money.

But without the sword, there is very little she can do. She can run and hide, and she can postpone her death. One way or the other, when face to face with Nezuko, there is no denying the demon girl would come out as a winner.

3 Kohaku (Dr. Stone)

Kohaku (Dr Stone)

Kohaku’s fighting prowess is acknowledged not only by her village people, but even by the show’s very powerful antagonist, Tsukasa. She has enhanced senses and a sharp eye. If Nezuko were a human, she wouldn’t stand a chance against Tsukasa.

When pit against a demon like Nezuko who possesses inhuman strength and supernatural powers, Kohaku would put up a brave fight, but would eventually lose.

2 Mirei (When Supernatural Battles Become Commonplace)

Mirei (When Supernatural Battles Become Commonplace)

Mirei has the ability to “steal” other people’s superpowers. Whether or not she can steal Nezuko’s powers is debatable. Even assuming that she can, she would have to get Nezuko to use her Blood Demon Art first.

If Nezuko opted to chose her physical strength instead, there’s no way this teenage girl would survive the demon’s onslaught.

1 Baileu (Phantom Of The Twilight)

Baileu (Phantom Of The Twilight)

She is perhaps the strongest opponent in this discussion. Her ability is to summon literally any object that she thinks of. In a normal battle, this would prove to be an exceptional asset.

However, when fighting a demon who can only be defeated by a Nichirin sword, this ability becomes useless. Especially seeing how all the weapons in the world wouldn’t help Baileu if Nezuko chose to use her Blood Demon Art on her.
