Marvel's Defenders & Punisher Debut Comic-Con Posters

Ahead of next week's Comic-Con International in San Diego, Netflix has debuted convention posters for Marvel's The Defenders and The Punisher.

Unveiled this morning by Entertainment Weekly, the Defenders poster depicts Daredevil (Charlie Cox), Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter), Luke Cage (Mike Colter) and Iron Fist (Finn Jones) against a New York City backdrop, as illustrated by Marvel TV Creative Director Joshua James Shaw.

Drawn by Marvel Chief Creative Officer Joe Quesada, the Punisher poster shows Jon Bernthal's Frank Castle, blood-spattered and battle-weary.


The Punisher poster will be available during a signing at Comic-Con on Friday, July 21, at 3:30 p.m. at the Marvel booth (#2329), while the Defenders poster can be grabbed on >Saturday, July 22, at 10 a.m. Passes for each signing will be available on a first-come, first-served lottery basis beginning at 9:15 a.m. each day at the Marvel booth.

Arriving Aug. 18 on Netflix, the eight-episode Defenders stars Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock, Krysten Ritter as Jessica Jones, Mike Colter as Luke Cage, Finn Jones as Danny Rand, Elodie Yung as Elektra Natchios, Sigourney Weaver as Alexandra, Eka Darville as Malcolm Ducasse, Simone Missick as Misty Knight, Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson, Carrie-Anne Moss as Jeri Hogarth, Scott Glenn as Stick, Rachael Taylor as Trish Walker, Rosario Dawson as Claire Temple and Jessica Henwick as Colleen Wing.


Expected to arrive in November, The Punisher will star Jon Bernthal, Ben Barnes, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Amber Rose Revah, Deborah Ann Woll, Daniel Webber, Jason R. Moore, Paul Schulze, Jaime Ray Newman and Michael Nathanson.
