Sigourney Weaver's mysterious Alexandra has a chat with Wai Ching Ho's enigmatic Madame Gao in a new clip from Marvel's The Defenders. The scene's release follows the debut Friday of a new trailer at Comic-Con International in San Diego, where Netflix screened the first episode of the miniseries.

In the clip, the two sit on a bench in New York City's Central Park, where Alexandra casually feeds pigeons as Gao updates her on preparations for "the final phase." Unfortunately for Gao and "the others," Alexandra is no longer willing to wait seven months. "That won't work," Weaver's character says. "Not anymore. We need to move faster."
