In a shot to the heart of fans of Daredevil and Marvel's Netflix shows in general, actor Deborah Ann Woll, who plays Karen Page on the series, said that her appearance in The Punisher's upcoming second season will "most likely" be her last as the character.
Woll posted her heartbreaking comments to Instagram. She also noted that she misses Karen "very much."

Most likely the final appearance of me playing Karen Page will be in The Punisher Season 2. I miss her very much. Be sure to watch!! @jonnybernthal is amazing in it! So is everybody! Hope it gets to continue for a third season. 🤞 #Punisher #ThePunisher January 18 on Netflix!
After saying that The Punisher Season 2 will most likely be her last outing as Page, Woll praised her co-star Jon Bernthal, encouraged fans to watch and offered her hops for the show's third season.
In a somewhat shocking move, Netflix canceled Daredevil after a successful third season and the surprise cancellations of fellow Marvel-Netflix shows, Iron Fist and Luke Cage. Netflix's remaining Marvel shows, The Punisher and Jessica Jones, are also expected to get the axe following the launch of their upcoming seasons. The Punisher Season 2 arrives on Netflix this week, and Jessica Jones is expected to premiere later in 2019.
Despite the sad news, Woll's post does leave a glimmer of hope. Fans are still hoping Daredevil will be revived in some form. They've even started a #SaveDaredevil petition that star Charlie Cox is encouraging fans to sign. The petition has already received almost 175,000 signatures.
The Punisher Season 2, arriving January 18 on Netflix, stars Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle, Ben Barnes as Billy Russo, Amber Rose Revah as Dinah Madani, Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Jason R. Moore as Curtis Hoyle, Josh Stewart as John Pilgrim, Floriana Lima as Krista Dumont and Giorgia Whigham as Amy Bendix.
