Popular DC villain Deathstroke is on a new kind of mission in the DC animated film, Deathstroke: Knights & Dragons - The Movie, which just released its first trailer for the full movie.

The Deathstroke: Knights & Dragons - The Movie is center around Deathstroke/Slade Wilson as he attempts to save his son from the H.I.V.E. organization. Meanwhile, a description of the trailer reads, "Deathstroke: Knights & Dragons - The Movie offers a new take on the Deathstroke legacy."

Deathstroke: Knights & Dragons – The Movie is based on the Deathstroke CW Seed animated series, which premiered on January 6, 2020. The film adds 50 extra minutes of footage and features the vocal talents of Michael Chiklis, Sasha Alexander, Castulo Guerra and many more. Deathstroke: Knights & Dragons – The Movie's runtime sits at 87 minutes and will soon be released on digital as well as Blu-ray.

Created by Marv Wolfman and George Perez, Deathstroke is an iconic villain from DC Comics that first appeared in 1980's The New Teen Titans #2. He gained major popularity after being the main antagonist in Cartoon Network's early 2000's Teen Titans animated series. Additionally, Deathstroke has made appearances in multiple DC Comics storylines, TV series and films.

Directed by Sung Jin Ahn with a script by Superman: Red Son's J.M. DeMatteis, Deathstroke: Knights & Dragons – The Movie is rated R for bloody violence/gore, language, disturbing images and some sexual content. The feature-length animated film will be released by Warner Bros. Home Entertainment this summer.
