Deathstroke #44 Solicitation Spoils a Major DC Death

WARNING: The following contains spoilers for Deathstroke #44, which hits shelves on June 5, and “The Terminus Agenda,” which starts March 20.

Despite the event not officially starting until Teen Titans #28 later this month, DC's June solicit for Deathstroke #44 seems to spoils one of  the major deaths in the upcoming "The Terminus Agenda" arc: Slade Wilson, aka Deathstroke

Deathstroke #41 served as a prelude to the event and saw the titular mercenary fighting his way out of Arkham Asylum and his identity getting publicly outed. Meanwhile, Slade’s own son, Jericho, betrayed him to Damian Wayne, who has been using his team to capture a number of notable foes and been incarcerating them in his own facility.

Deathstroke's confrontation with the Teen Titans will seemingly prove fatal, as the solicit for the "Deathstroke: RIP" arc boldly declares that the titular assassin has died in battle at the hand of one of the young heroes. However, who remains a mystery. The story itself focuses on Slade’s closest friends and enemies arriving for a funeral, only to be tossed into a battle with the Legion of Doom, who have an interest in Slade’s body.
