Last month, Marvel Comics teased the beginning of the end for the Inhumans in the ominously titled Death of the Inhumans by writer Donny Cates (Thanos, Doctor Strange) and artist Ariel Olivetti (Venom). However, while details surrounding the story remain scarce, a variant cover by artist Kaare Andrews hints at the arrival of a dangerous new foe.

The character, who's apparently named Vox, sports a retractable cape comprised of black feathers and carries an imposing energy scythe. It's also worth noting the pattern on Vox's costume bears a striking resemblance to the tuning fork on Black Bolt's cowl.
