The show Death Note is one of the most popular anime ever made. The main character, Light Yagami, finds a mysterious notebook that kills anyone whose name is written into it. Using it to kill as many criminals as he can, he becomes known as Kira, and others who have his power join him as he tries to change the world.
While Kira only killed criminals in the very beginning of the series, those that tried to figure out his identity also died. And if it were possible, Kira would have killed gods as well, as he showed interest in ending Ryuk's life and used Rem as a sacrifice. So what if Kira appeared in other anime? There are some criminals, gods, and geniuses that Kira would kill if given the opportunity.
10 Kira Would Not Be Happy About Letting A Mass Murderer Like Frieza Live
There are many powerful villains in Dragon Ball that kill a lot of people (and aliens). The most popular is arguably Frieza, who would go so far as to destroy the Earth and other planets. If Kira was in the same universe, he wouldn't be happy about a mass murderer trying to destroy everything that he had worked for.
While Goku and the other heroes of the series fight against Frieza, Kira would simply write his name down and wait 40 seconds. But there are many other characters in the anime that Kira would kill.
9 Kira Would Take Down Beerus In Order To Secure More Worshipers For Himself
Beerus is another character from Dragon Ball that would die if Kira knew about him. However, unlike Frieza, Kira actually has two reasons to end his life. Due to wanting to be a god, Kira would be glad to kill the God of Destruction in hopes that more people would worship him.
Many characters in the franchise are terrified of Beerus, knowing that he could kill them at any moment. Kira would probably see Berrus as a terrorist so he'd end his life as quickly as possible, even if he wasn't a god.
8 Kira Would Not Show Eren Mercy After The Marley Attack
Eren is the main character of Attack on Titan and has recently become the antagonist of the series. Throughout most of the anime, Kira would probably want Eren to live as he gave Paradis hope.
However, now that he attacked Marley without a second thought, causing many innocent people to die, Kira would no longer see the good in him. Despite how similar the two actually are, being both the main character and villain of their series, the two would not get along.
7 Kira Would Take Down Akihiko Kayaba In Order To Prevent Akihiko From Beating Him
Like Kira, Akihiko Kayaba, the main antagonist of Sword Art Online, wanted to make a new world. He created the video game that the series is named after and trapped all of its players inside of it. The only way for them to be free was to beat the game, but if they were defeated, they'd die in the real world as well.
Kira could never allow someone to beat him and take everything that he wanted so he'd kill Akihiko Kayaba, and possibly even try to save the game's players so they would worship him.
6 Kira Would Not Tolerate The Lives Father Had Taken
The main antagonist of Fullmetal Alchemist is most notably known as Father. Like Kira and Akihiko Kayaba, he wanted to have the power of a god, as well as learn as much about the world as he could. In order to do so, he killed many people, created the Homunculi, and removed sin from himself, causing him to always be calm, serious, and even more menacing.
Though he may not have seen anything wrong in what he had done, Kira wouldn't agree with him and think he was a sinner.
5 Kira Would Ensure That Shou Tucker Would Pay For Hurting His Own Daughter
Another villain from Fullmetal Alchemist is Shou Tucker, one of the most despicable parents in all of anime. In order to keep his State Alchemist's License, this bio-alchemist turned his daughter and dog into one being, and did the same thing to his wife a couple of years prior.
As Light allowed his father, Soichiro, who had only ever wanted what was best for him to die, there is no way that Kira would allow a man that hurt his daughter to live.
4 Kira Would Not Tolerate Endeavor's Abusive Actions
Another abusive father in anime is Endeavor. Many people consider Kira to be evil, so the heroes from My Hero Academia might try to find and kill him to make those people feel safe. However, even if Endeavor didn't do anything to him, there is a good chance that Kira would kill him for being a terrible father and husband.
In order to turn his son, Shoto, into the greatest hero, Endeavor hurt him and the rest of their family. It's no wonder why many anime fans think Soichiro was a great dad.
3 Kira Would Not Like The Similarities Between Near And Norman
One of Kira's greatest enemies was Near, a genius orphan that could solve any problem he faced. A lot of the characters in The Promised Neverland have similarities to those from Death Note, with Norman being a lot like Near. Norman is the smartest kid from Grace Field House and found a way to save his siblings when all hope seemed lost, especially since he had supposedly died.
If for whatever reason, Norman wanted to find out who Kira was, he'd probably be just as worthy of an enemy as Near was and Kira would do everything he could to get rid of him.
2 Kira Would Not Approve Of The Things Orochimaru Did To Achieve Immortality
Orochimaru is one of the best villains in Naruto. As he did awful things in order to try to achieve immortality, Kira would try to kill him as quickly as possible, before it would be too late.
Some of the crimes that he committed throughout the series include killing and kidnapping, which would make him one of the criminals that deserves to be punished most in Kira's eyes.
1 Lelouch Would Be Capable Of Taking Him Down, So Kira Would Eliminate The Threat As Soon As Possible
Many fans of Code Geass also enjoy Death Note, and one of the main reasons why is because of how similar the characters are. Like Kira, a genius named Lelouch leads a revolution that changes the world around him. Though he doesn't have a deadly notebook, he does have the ability to control people and could use that to kill the same way that Kira does, but can also use his power for many other things.
If Kira and Lelouch became enemies, Kira would certainly need to kill the Eleventh Prince as he would be one of his most worthy opponents.
