While next month may mark the series finale of Game of Thrones on HBO, the premium cable network is also bringing its acclaimed Western series Deadwood back for a television movie, wrapping up the story after three seasons.

HBO has released a red band trailer for the film showing the various characters returning to the South Dakota mining town years after the events of the finale episode. From there, they waste no time rehashing old grudges as bloody gunfights spill out into the streets once more.

Of particular note is the arrival of George Hearst in town. The series had revealed the historical figure to be an unrepentant serial killer and, in the intervening years, the unscrupulous businessman has been elected as the Senator of California.

Now back in Deadwood and angling for a new power play, Hearst is on a collision course with longtime town local and proprietor Al Swearengen and, judging by the new trailer, blood will run.
