"Deadpool" may not be done breaking box office records just yet.

Following an exceptionally strong, record-setting Thursday night preview, the Ryan Reynolds-led superhero action/comedy is on a course for an even stronger President's Day weekend than originally projected.

The film, which opened with $12.7M on Thursday -- a new record for R-rated films -- is now on course for a weekend haul of between $80-90M. In fact, the current Presidents' Day weekend record holder, last year's "Fifty Shades of Grey," may see its 4-day haul of $93M surpassed.

"Deadpool's" estimated Friday box office is currently tracking in the low $30M range.

Internationally, "Deadpool" is off to a great start as well, launching Wednesday to over $12M in ticket sales.
