The shocking split between The Walt Disney Company and Sony Pictures, the two studios that have shared the film rights to Spider-Man since 2016, has sent the Internet into an uproar. However, some are still able to find humor in the situation. But you can only see it in my heart."

Indeed, the prospect of seeing the web-slinger team up with the Merc With a Mouth onscreen is now just as unlikely as seeing him interact with Daredevil or the Fantastic Four. With the character solely in the hands of Sony, though, other collaborations -- such as one with Tom Hardy's Venom -- are entirely possible, albeit far less enticing from the perspective of most fans.

Now in theaters, director Jon Watts’ Spider-Man: Far From Home stars Tom Holland, Samuel L. Jackson, Zendaya, Cobie Smulders, Jon Favreau, JB Smoove, Jacob Batalon and Martin Starr, with Marisa Tomei and Jake Gyllenhaal.
